Children In Media

Why would you or would you not expose your children to the media? Truth be told, for some people it is a family business to have everyone in the spot-light. What pressures and risks does this open up to your family though? The media consumption is just as bad as the exposure.

Know Your Youth Roles and Responsibilities

It is youth month and you may be one of the 80% of unemployed young people in South Africa. Please share with us what you can do or have been doing as an individual to make a difference for you and your peers. It may range from little things like tutoring, mentoring and developing; right up to starting a NGO, magazine or job-site etc.

The unemployed South African youth 'time bomb' is ticking and our frustrations will soon cause a 'buoyancy force'. By the time the government responds to this potential youth uprising, it will be too late. The same happened in 1976 so what can you do to change the status quo?

A Taste from The Entertainment Paste

Here is a taste of The Kaya FM entertainment paste!

Alesha Dixon is clearly over the boy who does nothing! She is said to be parting ways with her label Asylum/Atlantic Records, after a dispute. When one door closes, another opens widely!

A veteran who knows about the rise and fall is Tamia, who is at it again! She releases her fifth album 'Beautiful Surprise' this springtime. So I guess we will be seeing more of those great set of biceps.

Now Tamia without a killer bodz is like T-Paining off auto-tune. Well maybe the latter is history! The American musician who is famous for processing his vocals, has vowed never to use auto-tune again. We will have to see about this one!

Talk about people who don't give up, Mandoza could be heading to Asia to either 'Nkalakatha' or 'Get a Laptop' - however it is said!

Entertainment in the world of musos begins on The Kaya FM Top 40 with Mo-G every Saturday 10am to 2pm. Like our Facebook fan page (KayaFm Top 40 wiith Mo-G) and follow us on Twitter (@KayaFmTop40)

Advice to the Unemployed Youth

On today's online question we ask you what advice can you share with the unemployed youth of South Africa. It is youth month and truth of the matter is that half of us are unemployed regardless of whether you have some form of higher education or not.

What survival techniques can you share to our young people, to either use their time constructively or better yet find a job?
